The call for INTERACT Transnational Access is in good speed and we’ve already received so many inquiries regarding it, indicating a high number of good quality applications for the call!
In relation to the call we’ll also go to several meetings to greet the scientists working in arctic research to tell about the possibilities related to INTERACT Transnational, Remote and Virtual Access. One of such events was arranged here at the University of Oulu, where also the INTERACT TA offices are located. The event took place at the beautiful Botanical Gardens of the university, gathering together some thirty scientists from various faculties and research groups for lively discussions and brainstorming of future opportunities for collaboration.
The meeting was highly inspiring! In addition to hearing about what’s going on among the arctic researcher network within our own university, we also got very good suggestions on how the research coordination could serve the Arctic researcher community better to increasingly help the scientists to find each other for new projects and collaborations.
I hope to connect with many of the arctic researchers and potential TA applicants and users all over the world within next weeks, when visiting different meetings and during our on-line webinar concerning the ongoing TA/RA Call. Looking forward to meeting many of you -either personally or on-line- and discussing about the potential of TA to support your research in the Arctic and beyond!
